02: Friendship skills 2 – developing empathy skills

A child who is treated with compassion and positivity learns to be empathetic towards others. Taking your friend into account in a positive way makes it easier to get along and find the common ground. Empathy calls for practice – how does it look, how does it feel? Only then the child is able to recognize situations in which he should use this awesome ability. Empathy helps us get in touch with our feelings and gives us an emotional understanding of ourselves and others.
